Agriturismo Ristorante Faro Rosso is born surrounded by the beautiful Gubbio hills in an all-green space typical of Umbria, where there is a perfect combination of beauty and nature.
In the inside it hosts nineteen rooms among bedrooms, apartments and suites completely renovated according to the new trend and a Km0 Bistrot where you can taste all the genuine products that the earth, generous, is given us.
What distinguishes us? A breathtaking view overlooking the stone of a medieval Gubbio all to be discovered.
Our history
Agriturismo Ristorante Faro Rosso is the result of care and love handed down from generation to generation within the Urbani’s family, for that place that each of us simply feels to be your own “home”.
A safe place, in the Umbria’s heart, where every member of the family grew up running free in the fields and breathing pure air.
Urbani’s Family has been able to transform a small food workshop into a structure full of little paradise corners, able to tell their own story.

Our Junior suite is an intimate space designed for those who want to spend pleasant moments of comfort and well-being. Solarium area
The panoramic solarium area, 730 metres above the sea level, offers the possibilities to immerse yourself in a unique landscape context, living whole days of quiet and relax, interchanging regenerating dives in the pool and suggestive aperitifs with breathtaking sunsets.
The pool opens from May to October, there is a swimming pool for adults and for children and a bar service opening from 9:30am to 7:30pm.

In the authentic flavors of our cuisine there is the history of our grandparents, when pasta was homemade, the animals raised in the family farms and the life marked by the rhythms of the seasons. Today those traditions relive in our daily gesture, those flavors in our genuine products. Research, revisitation and respect of the nature are the engine of our business, the fulcrum of our philosophy, the heart of our work.
All the products you will taste at our facility: oil, meats, cold cuts, cheese, bread, pasta and focacce are entirely our own production, coming from the family farm. We are pleased to present to you our cuisine in the inside of the Km0 Bistrot, a Bistrot with a spectacular view.

The large interior rooms and the well-kept outdoor spaces represents a suggestive location for weddings, events and occasions to celebrate.
During hot season the poolside spaces and the panoramic garden become a privileged place to spend important moments. The interior conference room allows to host meetings and corporate congresses.

PRODUCTION AND TASTING: to enrich the Km0 philosophy there is a laboratory of production and processing of meats, cold cuts and cheeses produced without any use of additives, antibiotics and preservatives. We offer you the possibility to realize a tasting itinerary, as a result of which you can buy the farm’s products, coming from healthy and genuine Km0 raw materials.
VISIT THE FARM: 300 hectares of land of the family farm, where the animals graze freely all year long, embellished with two natural lakes, awaits to let you live and discover the life in the farm.
PLAYFUL ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN: to give real breaks for the parents and family members it is possible to ask for the children a baby-sitter service or organize playful activities such as painting, drawing and art therapy, with professionals people in the sector. For this last activities is required a minimum of 6 children.
HORSE RIDING: The Castiglione Aldobrando riding school located a few metres from us, historical winner of two times in a row of the famous Palio of Siena, offers the chance to do horse riding excursion with a certified guide between green paths and rocky paths. Field trips for adults and children from 12 years old.
E-BIKE AND SCOOTER TOUR: affiliated city facilities offer the opportunity to discover the beauties of the territory through itinerant ecological walks by e-bike or scooter tours. The excursion can take place in the city, to discover views, alleys and monuments that mark out the gorgeous town of Gubbio or near the surroundings nature trails, based on the experience you want to live.
